Hello, just recently (2 days now) I’ve been having problems with being able to start or join any AIM chat rooms. Every time i try to invite someone or start one, I get “invite or request timed out”. When I do get invited to one, I don’t see any notifications and can’t join.
I have tried to reinstall and rebooting. I have checked if it was my router or any blocked ports. I have tried searching for the answer on the internet but i haven’t been able to find out how to solve it.
Can anyone help me?
The exact same thing has just started happening to me too over the last few days. I’ve also tried reinstall and reboot. I’ve tried using other versions of AIM.
I’ve also tried those things and even a system restore to an earlier time when it did work. When i log on another SN on my pc, it works, but it won’t work with MY SN. :/
A “timed out” notification is usually an indicator that the issue is server-side and not client side.
