I’m currently at a tertiary institute and use msn messenger quite a lot. I was confronted by a few lecturers today and told that I should stay off msn or they’ll kick me out of class. I thought that was a bit rude considering they set up chatrooms for students to go into yet don’t let us chat on msn. Im not quite riguring out the difference between the two >_<"

our lectures arn’t like other places. We sit in a room of computers and chat to each other verbally and if we need a question answerd then we just ask the lecturer. I only have 1 offcial lecture a week where i have to sit down with my pen and paper. Also, these chatrooms are made for socializing -_-
There are other chatrooms for online classes and asking of questions aswell though. -
