Saw an earlier post, but never a resolution. From comments in the chat rooms seems I’m not the only one with the problem(s)
- File share never completes. Stops with the error:
A problem occurred while transferring the file “xxxxx”. The transfer has been stopped.- Photo share problem:
- will not show a clear picture in the upper window (very pixilated)
- “index photo” looks ok (though appears grey).
- “Friend’s View” foto is clear.
- attempting to use magnifier on upper window shows nothing but pixils
- attempting to save foto doesn’t work
- Photos look ok on the Sharer’s side but not the shareie’s side
Particulars:
2 Computers have Windows XP Professional, SR2;
1 Computer has Windows Media, SR1
YahooMessenger Version: 7,0,0,437
MyYahoo Module Version: 6,0,0,600I have reinstalled version 7. no change.
I am on a highspeed cable connection.
File sizes were 46KB .gif file and 1KB .txt file
same problem with 200KB .gif files (size doesn’t seem to matter in this case)Yahoo doesn’t even send automated responses to my inquiries any more so any help would be appreciated.

Email help from Yahoo was all about router configuration – like my grandma’s gonna mess with that…. that’s not the problem anyway.

December 31, 2008 at 6:28 pm #133997imported_Ven0mMemberThe problem is on Yahoo’s side, and there’s no solution other than uploading pictures to a service like ImageShack and giving the other person the direct links.
