Does anyone know of ANY messenger client which allows you to browse chatters’ locations to see what area they are from to find local friends to strike up a chat with? Yahoo’s member directory advanced search doesn’t seem to be functioning any more.
Yes, there is a neat messenger called Meetro that does EXACTLY that. You can also use it to connect to people on AIM, MSN/WLM, Y!, and Google Talk.
You can only find the location of your meetro account contacts, AIM/MSN etc is just so you can still talk to your already made friends.
Thanks egg; apparently they are not taking new users right now until their new version comes out, but nonetheless it looks pretty cool.
Well better get on that waiting list then. I’m surprised to see that, oh well.
