Messenger was working fine for me then 3days ago.. it starts freezing everything i try loggin on.. the program stop responding.
i ran my harddrive on norton 2003, no virus found.
i reinstalled msn 30000 times, rebooted nothing.,,,, i uninstlled using program/add/del,,, nothing is worki installed Trillium, it has msn, icq, mirc, and icq on it, when i tried signin into msn thru that then it works,,, but i HATE trillum… i want msn to work….
im runnin Win 2000 ME, 30gig, 195 ram

AND also that some people had this problem before and wat they did was use either trillian or vista and left msn messenger alone. after like a week or so, they tried it and worked. so if none of the suggestion above work, use “trillum” (thats wat u call it) and try using it after a week or so.

September 13, 2002 at 5:39 am #67048MerryOneMemberI was having that trouble without trillian( as trillian wont work for me) I too kept uninstalling messenger and re-downloading it again. Eventually i downgraded versions of messenger. It works great now. No more freezes. So that may be the way to go for you as well.

Win95 is prone to problems on messenger….
But as far as we know – RayDaman runs something that was made around 2000… (we’re not exactly sure what though… lol.)I’ve never heard of persistant long term problems such as the ones that usually occur in Win95.. No offense MerryOne. RayDayam is experiencing a one-time thing that doesn’t have to resolved by downgrading.
