ok three days ago a random person immed me on AIM on my regular screen name that i did not know who and i was away so i added him to my buddly list. i have a secret screen name that only a few people know however those people do not know my regular screen name. well earlier i added that random person who instant messaged me a couple days ago to my secret screen name. to my suprise when i put on my away message i got an instant message on my secret sn. i would like to know how that person got that screen name and if it is possible to aquire other peoples screen names even if no one tells that person about the sn. also i use dead aim to clone aim and yahoo messenger as an alternate. i would appreciate any comments on how this was done

Are you sure one of your friends hasn’t gotten a new sn? It is possible to get a list of what screen names are registered under a certain e-mail address. If you have registered them both under the same address, he/she could have run a search and seen that your secret screen name was on. There are many possibilities.

Go to “My aim” > “Edit profile” >> uncheck “allow people to search for me”

It can take pictures of individual windows. This way you dont have to worry about cropping anything. I suggest using http://picserver.tk or http://www.inkfrog.com for hosting your images. Inkfrog is free but you can only have 6 images uploaded at a time. Picserver is entirely free with 50 Megabytes of space. I have only found that Inkfrog might allow images to load slightly faster than Picserver.

Get rid of those useless programs and use ALT+PrintScreen. It will only copy the active window. 🙂
