Well, more accurately, they have been inaccessible to me for the last three days. When I called, they said they were having some server issues and that the contacts have not been lost, but I’m still waiting…
I have always preferred Y!Mail to GMail because of their unlimited storage capabilities and their superior message search (It allows you to narrow a search by mailbox, sender, receiver, date, etc.), but if they can lose my contacts, what’s to say they can’t also lose my messages? If my contacts don’t come back by the end of the week, I’m making the jump 🙁

[email protected] wrote:Subject: update re: known issue with addressbookGood day! I apologize for the inconvenience, but we have not resolved the issue with missing contacts as of yet.

Thank you!
Ehh… supergroup5test? My conversion to GMail is complete.

I’ve never paid for my email, but I’ve had the same email since around 2003 and haven’t lost any contacts, nor lost any of the messages I’ve sent (I checked my ‘Sent’ folder and it’s logged every email I’ve sent since I created the account).
Good luck with Google, I guess 🙁
