Well, more accurately, they have been inaccessible to me for the last three days. When I called, they said they were having some server issues and that the contacts have not been lost, but I’m still waiting…
I have always preferred Y!Mail to GMail because of their unlimited storage capabilities and their superior message search (It allows you to narrow a search by mailbox, sender, receiver, date, etc.), but if they can lose my contacts, what’s to say they can’t also lose my messages? If my contacts don’t come back by the end of the week, I’m making the jump
Okay, Google, you win. I was paying for Yahoo! Mail, but they left me high and dry. After a week, Yahoo! sent me this email:

That really stinks. I’ve never paid for my email, but I’ve had the same email since around 2003 and haven’t lost any contacts, nor lost any of the messages I’ve sent (I checked my ‘Sent’ folder and it’s logged every email I’ve sent since I created the account).
