i was wondering if anyone knew how to add tabbed windows to aim without adding on any addons. I want to know this because i don’t want any of the other usless features that comes with it but i want my desktop to still be neat.
i have reshacker if that helps because i figure it has something to do with it.
thanks to anyone that helps
[edit] also if anyone wants to remove the ads from the aim b/l just go to http://members.cox.net/vcbb10/AimAdRemoval.htm
i think it is for 5.5 and easy to do and not to dangerous.
oh yeah it might help to let yuo know i am using aim 5.5
January 2, 2005 at 8:42 pm #110637TigerbladeParticipanti use MiddleMan for AIM… it does tabbed windows, IM logging, and it can remove the buttons at the bottom of the list… each of those options is just that – optional. you can choose not to use any of them you dont want.
although, i’m not sure if it works with the new versions of aim (i still have 5.5.3595)
March 19, 2013 at 7:50 pm #110638HoppusParticipanti use MessengerMate for tabbed windows. it attaches itself to AIM so there’s no extra app you need to run or anything, so you can still keep everything neat. it tabs not only IMs but also aim chat rooms. all in one window, with it you can also separate tabs from it with simple dragging. easy pz. since it is no longer in development and has been given up on, it’s now given out freely and is now considered freeware (as stated by the owner), so a quick google will provide you a free download.
there was also a addon (a .ocm file) that allowed you to get into multiple aim chat rooms at once (10), so all the chats would be able to be tabbed aside from having separate windows, pretty neat stuff. 🙂 aim chats list
