I have the latest version of YIM, when I talk to a person, I usually make myself visible only to them. I noticed when I put my mouse over my name and it tells you available to one – It says “online to 1 contact”, “offline to 13 contacts”, and “online to everyone else.” That freaked me out!! I do NOT want to be online to everyone else. How is it that I’m invisible, appearing offline to all on my list, only showing available to one, yet it tells me that I am online to everyone? Is my privacy setting wrong?
Thanks in advance.
means you’re invisible but just noting you’re invisible to the 13 online at that moment.
It’s the “online to everyone else” that stumped me, that’s all. I know my settings are set up to show me online to only those on my list, so I can’t be seen by others I don’t know.
Thanks Dermot!
its great
Yeah, that didn’t help, thanks.
Anyone else have any thoughts?
“online to 1 contact”, “offline to 13 contacts”, and “online to everyone else.”
Why does it say “online to everyone else” when I’m only showing to one person.
Most likely a typo or a Yahoo error. 😛
