I was logged into my Yahoo/MSN/AOL accounts and I have three Yahoo profiles one profile has 3 chat friends. One of them has bout 30. The other has about 10. when all of a sudden the account that had 3 sent solicitation messages to all the users on the other accounts asking them to add my other chat name. Has anyone ever seen anything like this? I thought it might be some new IM worm going around. I’m very careful who I add to any of my lists. but this stumps me. It only effected my yahoo accounts..the others nothing changed.

Please download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware to your desktop.
- Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
- At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
- If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
- Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
- When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
- Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
- When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location in case you need it for future reference.
Different malware can target different programs, and can affect systems differently.
Please let me know if this scan finds anything significant or if your system comes back with no malicious items detected.
