How would one burn a dvd? Say I have several videos all different sizes and such (some my own, some downloaded) that I want to put onto just one dvd cd. How would I do this? I don’t have any fancy dvd burning programs on my computer. Would it be possible to do through iTunes at all? Pherhaps through windows movie maker? Many thanks to anyone who can help me here.
Cheers guys.
PS: Sorry if this is wrong section for this kind of question.

As for burning software, I doubt you can do such things via iTunes or Movie Maker, but I use an application called “Clone DVD“. There’s a free trial available but you do have to purchase it to use it after that.
If the files you have arn’t already DVD, you need an application that’ll convert them into the correct format so they can be played on standard DVD players. From my experience, Clone DVD does this.

You may already have one, depending on what kind of computer you have. I think the de facto in most computers right now is a combo drive included with the computer. A combo drive can read and write normal CDs but can only read DVDs (but not write DVDs). You will need a drive that can at least burn DVDs, obviously. I have an optical drive that can read and write both DVDs and CDs, and that’s how most of them are at an electronics store.
Anyway, after you have a DVD burner, you will need some software to do it. It looks like you want to put some videos on your DVD, then you’re going to need the right software for it. I use Nero, which lets you customize your own DVD menus and make it look how you want it, then burn it. There could be some free programs for doing this too, I’ve never looked into it, and I kind of doubt it anyway. I don’t believe you can do this through iTunes… somebody please correct me if I’m wrong.
Anyway, hopefully someone can provide you with more information about this. I need to go to school now, so good luck. 🙂
