Hey folks
Ive got my eye on this nice tv here and its 720p 1368×768 pixels and 1000:1 contrast ration which i hear is what i should be looking for considering i have an xbox 360.
LG 42LC55 42″ HD Digital LCD TV – Tesco.Direct
Now check this out one of my relatives friends told my relative that this tv was HD ready. Does a TV need to be at least 720p for it to be high def or is this wrong. I know there are 480p tvs but the tv they said we should buy was more expensive and had a lesser picture quality than the one we are considering buying.
Ive also noticed that when you walk into a store there are tvs that dont even meet 720p requirements and are even more expensive than the ones that are cheaper and do meet 720p requirements
Your friend’s taking about ED (extended definition) as opposed to HD. Yours is HD. You’ll be fine.
