MemberThe easiest way to clear up this is to goto microsoft and download the latest version of scripting. Which is currently script 5.7 which is currently what is included with Windows Vista. Windows XP originally came with 5.6 . If you are running Windows 98, Microsoft took down the script download. You will have to try to find a copy of script 5.6 from another source.
Once you download it, the installer package will update your script files and register them. If you are running Vista you will may have to turn off your USERS ACCOUNT’s Control off in order to keep Vista from blocking any changes to your dll’s.
For XP ver 5.7 Download details: Windows Script 5.7 for Windows XP
Hopefully this will be of use, since this problem seems to keep popping up for many people over the years.

ParticipantFirst, make sure you have the latest versions of Flash and Java installed on your machine.
Then, make sure you have scripting enabled. You can see how to do this and the other recommended solutions in the FAQ for Yahoo Messenger.
