Okay, if you don’t want to be obvious…….but you would like a friend to finally get an aol id………does the invitation to chat reveal the sender?

Yes, the email they get will show your AIM screen name. Here’s a sample (I added the red to show where your personal message goes; the rest is written by AOL and you can’t change):
