I was reading several posts at the jdennis forums and it states that it is illegal to distribute Deadaim 3.2.1 to others. It has been like this since Deadaim 4.0 was released supposedly. Am i wrong?

The reason is Jim Dennis still holds the copyright on his products, the same is true with other programmers. Now if he says it’s okay (permission) for the old version(s) to be offered on other sites then it is.
Sometimes users mistake freeware and shareware meaning they can do anything they want with the programs. However if they take the time to read those readme EULAs that come with most programs when you install them you will find that the only thing they are allowing you to do is install it on your PC.

Well, if it’s good stuff, and worthy enough, I would buy it!
