i found a webiste from a friend that gives you dead aim 4.0 and a crack. It does work so i was wondring if anyone had a way to contact him faster than jsut using his forums. like his aim sn so i can report it. thanks!June 21, 2003 at 11:37 pm #61012
You can try this one… http://www.jdennis.net/contact.php – you could put something in subject that would get his attention quickly.
EDIT: Jim keeps his AIM screen name hidden. Another way you could do is go to the forums there and send him a PM (private message), he may have the PM notification turned on which would let him of new messages. 🙂June 22, 2003 at 1:29 am #61019
ok, but does anyone have his aim sn??June 22, 2003 at 11:22 am #61024
Why would it really matter? It's all over the net… Nothing he can do about it except change the serial numbers in the next version, which will just be cracked once again…. Hes not the only one…
This is known as piracy… hehJune 22, 2003 at 3:17 pm #61010Jeff HesterKeymaster
Use his contact page. Obviously, he doesn't share his AIM screen name carelessly, and he probably has a good reason for that.July 17, 2003 at 12:49 am #61018
i guess ur right. he would get the hell bugged out of him if he gave out his sn now. charging for deadaim and all……..July 17, 2003 at 12:59 am #61011
You are entitled to your own opinions. But why are you using one of DJennis' software if you dislike the fact that he charges people for using his softwares. Making one available for many people is a very hard job, consider this he has taken a lot of his times to make his customers happy.July 17, 2003 at 2:32 am #61017
I never said i was against jdennis. i would charge if i was him
its a simple equasionJuly 17, 2003 at 2:48 am #61023Quote:quote:Originally posted by Brian

I am sure you use windows and office… and I am sure you feel that they are not worth hundreds of dollars when the simple upgrades of office are just different color themes with 1000 new bugs…
People steal software regardless if they like it or not… companies cannot stop piracy… it is 100% impossible… If they could, don't you think they already would have stopped it? 🙂July 17, 2003 at 2:51 am #61013
Oops.. I apologize. I misread your post, I realize this was uncalled for me to post. Please forgive me.July 17, 2003 at 3:34 am #61016
yes it does matter, things like windows get pirated all the time. but pirating can be slowed. games are coming out with a new feature where if u have a internet connection it will send ur serial through the developers website. if the serial has been used your game will no longer function.:(July 17, 2003 at 4:01 am #61022Quote:quote:Originally posted by someguy03

Simple… don't let it check… and if it won't load without you checking, there will be a patch to not have to check…
Black and white did this years ago.. just don't let it check
And, NO…. windows piracy can NOT be stopped… if it could, it would have been done years ago… if you can install a program on your computer you can even clone your harddrive and throw it onto another pc, and you don't have to worry about a thing… you can download cracks and patches for anything and everything.. piracy will NEVER stopJuly 17, 2003 at 4:02 am #61020
I never said it could be COMPLETLY stopped. i said it could be slowed.July 17, 2003 at 4:04 am #61026BrdMc3Member
so basically your saying there is nothing these programs can do to stop it cuz they will just find a new way to get in again?
also what about people that download it. cant they get caught?July 17, 2003 at 4:05 am #61015
no, there are way to many people that pirate things. and too many sites too cover. u can bust one big site but u wont be able to get everyone. or u wont find a little private site running in the dark.
