Hi, I just tried to update my forum avatar (via the upload and site linking options) and it gives off invalid file and temporary write errors.
Is this due to the recent server updates?

Hmmm… I’ll have to do some more testing on Sunday.

Yeah, this should only effect image uploads (and not just avatars, but also profile pics and images attached to discussions, too). The pre-supplied avatars will be fine.
The issue is that I’ve configured vBulletin to use ImageMagick to process images that are uploaded. This allows us to resize them on the fly, control the image size in pixels and other things. By default, ImageMagick is not installed. That problem I have fixed. But apparently the default installation of ImageMagick may not include libraries for all the typical file formats. It did support GIF, but I had to manually add JPEG. Apparently I’ll have to do the same for PNG.
I’m heading down to San Diego to visit my Grandmother who turned 94 this past Tuesday, and then I’m getting together with some friends tonight. I might have time to tackle this inbetween those two, but a safer be would be tomorrow (Sunday).
Thanks Ven0m and Philip for your testing!
