How do you use the Internet?

The Pew Internet & American Life Project has surveyed how American use the Internet. Were the results what you’d have thought?

I saw some wacky stuff.

59% said they “go online.” Why wouldn’t this be 100%?

49% send email. Judging by the volume of junk mail I get, 48% of them send email to ME!

And apparently people are torn between gambling or attending a support group.

Agree or disagree? Or maybe I am not the typical user? I use the web primarily for researching information for my job. I also shop on-line and find the web very helpful for finding information about events and concerts. Occasionally the weather and news are also areas I use. How about you?
