Hi,
I have been reading a lot of the posts in this section which were very interesting. I was doing some searches last night and ran across a new security site that looks interesting. There was a free download that gave some basic security information that I found helpful. Thought that some of the other people on the board might be interested. I am including the link below.

the security sites that i vist most often are http://securityfocus.com and http://secunia.com. they are pretty useful. securityfocus also has columnists who write about computer security related stuff. if you really want to keep up-to-date on security information i suggest that you suscribe to Bugtraq mailing list (SecurityFocus Mailing Lists). if you don’t want to, you can always view the public archives: http://msgs.securepoint.com/bugtraq, http://www.securityfocus.com/archive/1.
for more general information about spyware i suggest Spyware-Guide.com although google is probably the best tool for this and many other things.

Sorry that user91c did not agree. I noticed that the site has been redesigned in the last few weeks and they have added a lot of additional tools. I think that the site has some helpful information. You might want to take a second look.

Useless website. Recycled information. You’re better off sticking with more reliable sources ie. from known ”trusted” security vendors.
