Right, after doing fireworks a couple nights ago, I decided to whip out a telephoto lens (I’ve actually got a few of these, including a couple “L” telephoto lenses that I rarely use!) and get some closeups of things. I picked out my favorite walkaround telephoto for this camera and went outside and shot away! Here’s some of what I got…
All comments welcome!
P.S. If anyone wonders why I don’t use some of the ‘better’ lenses more, I don’t honestly feel the need to. The ‘lower’ ones do the job – after all it’s all about the art in the end, not the lenses nor the camera body. It doesn’t matter what you have or use, as long as you have an eye for things and enjoy what you’re doing. 😉

More pictures here. 🙂

July 9, 2009 at 4:13 am #173617imported_Ven0mMemberSo, tonight it’s star trails. If you don’t know what that is, I hold the shutter open on the camera for a long period of time. The longest I did was 20 minutes but I could of done it for several hours. Because of the moon rising, it kinda ruined my 20 minute exposure but that’s okay. However, I got a 5 minute one that I’m quite fond of.

July 16, 2009 at 2:17 am #173619imported_Ven0mMemberIt’s been a little while since I posted something. It’s been too hot outside to even want to go outside and take pictures of anything! Damn you 100 degree days and unbearable humidity!
But, I did get a little something earlier…
All comments welcome! 🙂
More pictures, as always, are located here.
