Takes a while to load, but is worth the watch if you're as weary of myspace as me.April 4, 2006 at 2:22 am #141676MrEggsaladMember
Heh, pretty funny and true as far as “MySpace” users go. I'm not talking about like people who have one to comment on others, or people who just have one but don't use it, I'm talking about those “n00b”ish people who are all thinking it's the coolest thing ever. It really, ugh is stupid. Same goes for Xanga and other things like that. Heh, I should put this on my “MySpace” 😛April 4, 2006 at 3:00 am #141661April 4, 2006 at 3:12 am #141671AwesomeSauceParticipant
I'll agree that Myspace is pretty lame. I don't have an account now, and I don't plan on getting one (I'll just stick with my blogger account).
The only really funny part of that movie was at the beginning when that dude was taking pictures of himself in the bathroom and his mom walked in on him. “Mom! CLOSE THE DOOR! go out CLOSE THE DOOR!” 😀April 4, 2006 at 3:46 am #141663AwesomeSauce wrote:The only really funny part of that movie was at the beginning when that dude was taking pictures of himself in the bathroom and his mom walked in on him. “Mom! I've had a myspace account for maybe 2 years now, but it's blank. I only use it to look at pictures when people “zomg check out my myspace!!”.
I thought the Yeti thing was hilarious too.

However .. *cough cough* I have edited that link because there are some members here that are quite young and don't really think they should see that! lol I sure wish I hadn't :0)April 4, 2006 at 11:41 am #141662
Do I? Someone should send ME the link so I can check it out!
I setup an account to promote BBB, and add anyone — you see the results.April 4, 2006 at 1:08 pm #141664sarahtowny wrote:OMG Anna! I clicked on that and nearly spat my coffee half way across my office desk! :woot: Can you dial 911 for me please Anna seriously having trouble breathing here … 😀

I hate myspace. I used to have it. I decided to leave that hideous website several months ago.
Friends Don't Let Friends Use MySpaceApril 4, 2006 at 10:10 pm #141667RabidKittenParticipant
*snicker* Yes well, I have a myspace *shrug* It's slowly stealing my soul. But snce all my romoates work at walmart, I decided it wasn't fair that I'm the only one with an in tact soul.
Actually, I only use it to keep in touch with people I already -know-. High school friends who moved away, and concidering that two of my three closest companions live in different cities (one in minneapolis, one in dodge center…and the other about a closet away, heh) and they hate email, I keep in touch with them like that.
… … that and it's a time killer. Isn't that right, Tom? *grins* Tom's my myspace buddy. *cackles* We torment eachother from time to time.
Plus myspace has spawned some interesting geek shirts. Point in case.
Though… I was a bit disappointed when I found out some yuppy prissy california girl took my rabidkitten handle. *mutter, glare* … … Yeah. So, do what any sane person does and throw “The” in front of it. The one, the only, the original… TheRabidKitten *insane cackling ensues*
Though, I think that as far as crazy vanity sites go, tagworld.com has not only a toe up on myspace…but an entire freaking leg up on them. *shrug* I was watching G4 one day and heard them talking about it… Yeah…I need help.
And If I see one more glittery, girly, nutty myspace that takes 20 minutes to load… I'm going to stab them in the face. Stabbity stab stab stab!April 11, 2006 at 4:29 pm #141672neo_ny_23Member
I always believed that MySpace is kinda lame. But I really love Facebook though :P:P Great website to stalk college or high school girls 😉April 12, 2006 at 12:52 am #141668RabidKittenParticipant
Geep!!! *blink* Wow. So that's something to think on. They should use that as their sloagan:
Facebook: Great place to Stalk Girls!April 12, 2006 at 12:54 am #141677MrEggsaladMember
*runs into the room with blazing speed, first mistaken for Sonic the Hedgehog, then all say “Oh, it's just Eggy”*

i absolutely refuse to have myspace. it is dangerous. i hear crazy things about cops posing as young girls on the site to nab pedophiles. i suppose that is a good cause.
when i broke up with this guy, although i removed his name from my buddy list, i kept “stalking” his myspace to read about him and his new girlfriend. call me a masochist if you will…it was like i was addicted to the pain…i HAD to see it and it made me hurt.
nevertheless, i have been “clean” from myspace for about 3 months now 😀
oh, interesting tidbit:
i was watching good morning america a week or two ago. apparently it is not wise to have a myspace or a facebook account. prospective employers are hiring people to search for their job candidates via myspace/facebook. they are looking for those applicants who show “destructive behavior” by writing every single detail of their lives in their blogs, provocative pictures, etc.
the more you know…
oh and sami: i have seen various myspace tshirts including one titled “YOU LOOKED BETTER ON MYSPACE”
