Pop-ups? Really?

I just noticed this morning that I got pop-up ads (they were blocked) when doing a few things on the site. It wasn’t consistent. In one instance, the pop-up was twittered by clicking submit on a Quick Reply. Then another time it was triggered by clicking the “New Posts” link.

WTF?!! I thought you didn’t use any pop-up adverts here at BigBlueBall? Is this intentional?

We do NOT use pop-up ads here at BigBlueBall.

I’m digging into this now. If anyone wants to join me in this search, please do. If you get a pop-up blocked notice, please reply here and let me know what you did or what you clicked on when that came up.

Pardon the dust... but we are shaking things up at BigBlueBall. The site has been through a couple of evolutions, and this marks the latest and best yet!

Are you sick and tired of "Top 10" lists that don't really help you make decisions that will improve your life? That's a pet peeve of mine, too, and I'm doing something about it.
