Yes… Star Pips sound great! 🙂
January 20, 2007 at 7:02 am #156528Dr KimbleParticipantThe star doesn’t look so hot with a border. Mainly because it’s small. I can make it darker though, no problem. The green was the same color as the buttons, so I tried the BBB blue instead:
January 20, 2007 at 3:39 pm #156544PolarBearNPRParticipant😮 I like your example . . . stars look good on me – heh.
January 20, 2007 at 10:04 pm #156522detn8rParticipantAh! The blue looks SO much better! <3's it!

Agreed, let’s do it! 🙂
Besides, if we change it, people are going to wonder a) why we changed it, and b) wtf the stars are for anyway? Then (hopefully) we ask, and they learn, and thus the word is spread about our Rep system here. Yay! 🙂
January 22, 2007 at 4:05 am #156529Dr KimbleParticipant😮 I’m glad y’all like them so much.
January 22, 2007 at 4:33 am #156519Jeff HesterKeymasterDoc, love your stars, and the lovely blue hue. I tweaked them just a tad to match the stars in our online indicator and the badges. Enjoy! 😉
January 22, 2007 at 6:18 am #156532SpikeMemberAww, now they match the Advisors’ postbits and not my green TL one…. damn. Oh well, they still look really awesome, great job Doc (and Jeff for tweaking them)! 🙂
January 22, 2007 at 11:59 am #156545PolarBearNPRParticipantN . . i . . c . . e! Now the pips really communicate something “special” instead of signal strength or whatever the blocks seemed to represent. Well done, all!
January 22, 2007 at 2:26 pm #156537princeGParticipantYup, these are sexy. Good work =)
January 23, 2007 at 3:09 am #156538MrEggsaladParticipantAwesome! They really look good!
January 25, 2007 at 1:11 am #156530Dr KimbleParticipantNice job on getting a border to work for ’em Jeff. 😀
January 25, 2007 at 1:54 am #156525TigerbladeParticipantEmily – I’m tempted to give you rep just for having three completely different television references in your postbit. Fugitive, AI, and Dresden. That… that takes talent.

Haha! More like it takes a love for TV…or would that be an obsession? Hmm. ;p
Are you a Dresden fan (books and/or show)? 😮
January 25, 2007 at 2:12 am #156526TigerbladeParticipantI’ve actually only seen about half of one episode of Dresden. I wasn’t aware it was a book series as well. Maybe I’ll check it out — I use my lunch breaks to read, and I’m running out of ideas for books.
Nice work on the stars, by the way.
