So for the last month & a half or so for some reason my YouTube player volume is maxed out and up & quite frankly its getting to be quite annoying because I have a loud speaker system hooked up to my computer & its becoming a nuisance late at night when I go to play a video and it’s blaring super loud. I’ve messed with my speaker settings/master volume & all of that & I still can’t figure it out, I’m sure there’s a simple fix & it’s probably staring me right in the face but yeah. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
In order to store last used volume level data, I think you must allow Adobe Flash Player to store some data on your computer.
You probably already know this, but I’m going to explain anyway.
To change the amount of data Adobe Flash Player stores on your computer, do the following:
Step 1 – Context click the Adobe Flash Player YouTube video player on any video, then click the Settings… option.
Step 2 – Click the Local Storage tab.
Step 3 – Make sure the Never Ask Again box is unticked. Drag the slider to 10 KB.
Step 4 – Click the Close button.
If you find the volume level you last used is still not being saved, re-run through the above steps, and on Step 3, drag the slider to an amount greater than 10 KB. Repeat this process until your last used volume level is (Hopefully.) saved.
If that doesn’t work, the Cookies and/or Cache may be the areas where this problem lies.
Thanks for the help Jeff. It helped. Greatly appreciated.
You’re welcome. 😉
