Hi everyone!
I was on my computer today and some unknown user (CoachMigs78…) said hi, I answered..Who are u?..I thought I knew him/her, as if the SN sounded familiar..but I couldn´t recall who it was.
After I replied the SN was not online anymore…that made me suspicious…
I read that, once you answer, they can get your passwords or other info from your computer. I tryed to search for other posts about this (I recall there were some), but I didn´t find what I am looking for…
As far as I know nobody is doing anything to my computer…but just so I know for further incidents…Can someone tell me how to test if everything is alright? Is there any way?, or I can´t tell untill they get my password and do something with it?
I know it was not wise to answer but I normally trust people…
Thanks in advance…
Hopefully he/she will be just an old friend…but..

August 20, 2003 at 10:49 pm #91707CFNMemberisn’t that what all those porn bots do too? they send you a message to see if your screen name is active, so if you reply you could be in for a lot more spam messages. i usually just do not reply to anybody i don’t know.
August 21, 2003 at 8:53 am #91709WooHooAdimeMemberyes ive noticed thats exactly what the porn bots do. when i dont reply to them the eventually go away but if i reply to even just one i get like 10 more poping up on my screen:rolleyes:
