- 1) What is considered to be an event in VB?
Form_Load - 2) What are some of the features of a frame page that is different from a regular page?
I’m not sure what it’s asking… - 3) What is a mouse click in visual basic considered to be?
An event. (Usually Object_Click()) - 4) List the prefixes for the variables, buttons, boxes
str, int, lng, sng, obj, cmd, chk, opt, lst, cbo. - 5) What is the purpose of Option Explicit?
To force you to define all used variables. - 6) How do you stop a run away VB program?
Ctrl+Break - 7) What is the order of operations for mathematics in VB?
PEMDAS - 8) Write an assignment statement
strString21 = “Hello” - 9) What is an expression? Variable? What order do they appear in an assignment statement?
Huh? - 10) List 4 variable types and what they are used for in VB
Integer, storing integers…
String, storing text.
Single, Storing real numbers (I don’t remember the boundaries, sorry)
Boolean, True/False. - 11) What property is set to false with a command button and the command button is clicked on while the program is running?
Huh? - 12) List some steps to debug a program
Set a breakpoint and run the program line by line. - 13) What is the purpose of Val, Str functions
Val() converts a string to a number value, so that you can load text into a variable with a value data-type (Integer, Single, Long…etc). - 14) How is a string variable different from a integer variable?
Strings store text, Integer stores integers. - 15) What is the purpose of randomize?
To load RND with a random number between 0 and 1. - 16) How fast is 1000 in a timer in seconds?
1. - 17) What do you Call Add do in a VB program?
Huh? - 18) What controls the height and width of a text box?
.Height, .width properties. - 19) What is a nested loop?
Code:For I = 1 to 100
for k = 1 to 100
‘ code
next
next - 20) What is the difference between a variable dimmed in a subroutine and one dimmed at the top of your code?
The variable dimmed at the top of the code will be accessible anywhere in the form/module, the variable dimmed in the sub will only be able to be used in that sub. - 21) How big is dim boxes(20) array?
20. - 22) What do we mean by event driven programming?
I’m not sure what you mean.
