So, using the video camera is a great way to keep in touch with friends far away, but since the installation of the most recent update, after about 5 minutes of starting the cam, my friend can’t hear me. I can hear them, but they can’t hear me.
A similar situation happened about a month ago, I was on another computer, talking with another friend on cam and after about two minutes, neither of us could hear the other.
*edit* strike that – it disconnects voice after about 5 minutes whether or not the cam is on (luckily Yahoo and Skype still work, but the quality there is not as good)
Any ideas o-gurus-of-WLM?

Tokbox is a good voice/video option but the quality can vary. It’s flash based. I agree WLM is superior – if/when it works.
You could roll back to the previous version and it will likely work more reliably, but you’ll have to either deal with the nag screen to update to the new version (or I can get you to some rather complicated instructions on how to disable the nag if you decide to go that route).

At the moment, I’m using WLM for cam and yahoo for voice – silliness I know, but as you mentioned, rather than roll back to the previous version… Which, by the way didn’t work at all – me with the old, the others with the new we’ll give this a shot.
Thx… as always…
