I seem to remember seeing a website-based embedded IM/chat program, but I dont remember where or what. yes I already tried searching, but couldnt find it…
i dont want a messenger that connects to other chat clients, I just want one that basically sets up its own little room, similar to what you’d find on any online gaming site like Yahoo games. it sits on the page and allows people to chat back and forth, without having to sign in on some other client or network. I know i’m not really describing it very well…. anyone know what I mean? I cant find it on BBB, and google returns several million results… help??
November 6, 2004 at 4:56 pm #104082QuiksilverMemberWhat kind? One that appears on the website and you can type in a username and start chatting? Or one where you need a username/pass? I know where you could find the first one but it comes with a weblog. I also think I saw another one somewhere…I’ll go check that out.

http://www.parachat.com/hosted_rooms.html there you are.November 6, 2004 at 11:10 pm #104079BrianMemberI believe http://chatango.com is what you’re looking for?
November 7, 2004 at 1:12 am #104081TigerbladeParticipanteh… I looked at chatango, tried it out, but it requires me to be logged into a separate page for me to receive or send any messages. close, but not quite. i’d like it to be just one page, back and forth. thanks for the info on that though.
parachat seems to be pretty much what i’m looking for, thanks. just in case I find something about it I dont like, are there any others anyone’s heard of?
