Hi friends,
I read an article here.
Well, I just have one word for those people who wrote the song and who “enjoyed” it… thats “jerks”. Nothing much to say. Read the article to find out the details.January 27, 2005 at 5:53 pm #113039MartinBradleyMemberTo put it bluntly, that’s sick.
January 27, 2005 at 6:06 pm #113038DJHyperbyteMemberI heard it this morning on the Dutch Radio Veronica actually. The morning deejay played a part of it, to give an idea of what the song was like. His comment: “So now they’re screwed…” (and he didn’t mean the Asians). I hope he’ll turn out to be right. Playing songs like this isn’t radio like I know it. 🙂
January 27, 2005 at 7:21 pm #113041sharpshooterMemberHow can you make a joke about the tsunami? 300,000 died from it. Its sick and disgraceful. They all should have lost their jobs, not suspended. A presenter from the UK was sacked after making a joke live on air on a sports chat show and that was with several apologies. 10 minutes after the show finished, he was fired. Making racist tsunami songs though? I didnt think people could go so low…
January 27, 2005 at 8:08 pm #113045gossipingraeMemberit’s just goes to show you anybody will take someone’s misfortune and try and turn it into a joke.
these people are trying to get attention, and it’s working.
sick people like these will get what’s coming for them. like the saying goes…”what goes around, comes around”
January 27, 2005 at 9:40 pm #113044kyuubiMemberyeah…I saw that a couple of days back…it’s sick I know…I think they have issued a offical apologie….but…still…
January 27, 2005 at 10:00 pm #113043neo_ny_23Memberit will be cool if they r fired and some one composes a joke on them being fired and then airs it on radio and says the same exact words for them and their families. only then, they will understand how to respect people and their problems and thinking twice before joking on something like this.
January 28, 2005 at 12:25 am #113042colinMemberThat is so sick…How could anybody joke about something like that? I feel sorry for them because they think that is okay, there must be something wrong with them…
January 28, 2005 at 1:39 am #113040QwertyMemberI’ll admit it. Usualy I try and take a different perspective with things like this and argue against everyone else but there is no viable perspective with this one. It is just simply, wrong.
