The only big difference between the 360 and the original Xbox is the graphics, which is a downside to the system and my friends don’t seem to realize there can be more than just power. It’s also considerably more expensive than the original Xbox was at launch. Me? I’m waiting for the Nintendo Revolution.
And yeah Jeff, I would seriously buy a Windows Media Center PC if I could afford one.. but again, too expensive. Anyway, it’s still over a month until Christmas so that gives me a little time if I want to change my mind about anything.
November 23, 2005 at 2:05 am #133807princeGParticipant- Good health!
- A PC upgrade (motherboard, cpu, memory, graphics card)
- An electro-acoustic guitar
- A new pair of jeans, some shirts and sweaters
November 23, 2005 at 4:42 am #133803gossipingraeMemberIt seems that as everyone gets older, the presents seem less important. The list gets smaller each year, but the sentiment value goes up.
I also have nothing that I REALLY GOTTA HAVE THIS MINUTE! I ususally get a nice piece of jewelry each year that costs daddy a pretty penny, so that one is a given.
The one thing that I am really wanting is The Wizard of Oz Special Collector’s Edition on DVD. It’s a three-disc set with over 5 hours of extras, plus the original script, ticket, etc. I’m a big WofOz fan, loved it since I was a little girl.
I’ll just be having an easy Christmas, since I’ll be getting surgery that week. Who knows if I’ll even be in the mood to open presents.

(3 Shirts) and They are 3 for 30, So $25 is fine for me… Plus, if I got a $100 gift card I wouldn’t be able to get change back. $100 for jeans and underwear? Are you sure you wern’t talking about the outrageously priced Abercrombie and Fitch?

November 23, 2005 at 11:45 pm #133793DavidParticipantI could use some new speakers, this 2.1+2 setup sucks, 5.1 or 7.1 would be awesome.

Can’t wait til the movie comes out!
November 24, 2005 at 6:22 am #133799colinMemberI don’t really want much this Christmas, I figure any of the big stuff I can buy myself with the money I am making online (tempted to advertise right now, but I’ll refrain). Anyways, I basically just want:
1. 10 lb tub of whey protein
2. Maybe a shirt or twoNovember 24, 2005 at 3:43 pm #133810MrEggsaladParticipantOreo wrote:SO FREAKING COOL! I have a box set and I never put them down, 7th time reading now? 😉
November 26, 2005 at 2:07 am #133795RabidKittenParticipantEggy, I love you now. Scrubs is the best show ever.
I’d like some yarn *shrug* Yeah, yarn.
And, if it’s not too much of a bother, some funds for Barnes and Noble. There are some books I’d like to add to my very meager collection.Other than that, I mean…I’m a horrible person to shop for because I’m perfectly content. *shrug* These are just extras, I can always get yarn (it’s under 75 cents for 8 ounces) and books, I can always borrow. *shrug*
My mama can give me some of her White Zin wine she makes. That stuff is…absolutely delicious. It’s a mist. Tastes like plumbs. mmm…don’t even need a glass, drink it right outa the bottle or a plastic sippy cup if I have to!
