Well Macs hold about 2% of the market share when it comes to computers. And I will admit that although you get a lot of bang for your buck w/ Apple products, a sale here and there is always nice. And if I were Steve Jobs, I would want to be able to compete with the rest of the computer manufacturing world, and offer competitive prices on my product. But that’s just me. And I will admit that not ALL of Apple products are outrageously priced, they just walk the line with people like you and me. But the investment is a good one I believe, macs do last quite a while, and perform extremely well. But look at it this way, as fast as our technology is developing nowadays who knows what will become of OSX and Windows in the future, even Linux!
See that’s just IT! Apple CAN NOT compete with the rest of the computer manufacturing world. Ever since IBM came out with the “industry standers” PCs and squezzed Macs off the market, they couldn’t make a come back. They tried…but almost died trying. I understand what you are saying, but 2% is not enough. 2% is way to little comparing to today’s computer market..and that is just too bad…those Windows Users don’t know what their missing…:)..oh yeah…I like Windows Too..:)
