Whenever a person has been adding me to MSN, I do not get the popup asking whether or not I’d like to add them/approve the invitation.
I have an @msn.com e-mail address/passport that’s about 10 years old, I’ve checked all the options within the software, tried every combination of re-install/reboot I can think of, and this has been going on for upwards of one year, regardless of build.
I was using Windows Live 2011 for a while and I believe after the “black screen” issue many users had, I tried to re-install and the software downgraded to the 2009 version.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am running Windows 7 home, 64 bit.
And to test this, the only way to have the person appear online to me/for me to appear online to them, we have to both add eachother, otherwise I stay off-line to them.
And no, if they add me, they don’t appear on my list as offline, they aren’t on it at all. I need to contact them, find out their e-mail and add them as well to “finish” the invitation.
