ParticipantThis depends on what version of Messenger they’re on and which protocol version they’re using, as these status sites use various methods to scan your status.
Try older versions of messenger with invisible on and the don’t allow websites to see my status ticked in preferences.

ParticipantYahoo only uses the DSP Truspeech codec in room and conference voice chat which is low 16bit and ancient.

ParticipantThis is more then likely Yahoo freeing up resources on the webcam servers themselves.
They have closed a lot of servers to save money and it would make sense for them to put such redundacies into place to save bandwidth.
If it wasn’t Yahoo! i would imagine service based issues and they may get fixed in the future.
Are you using the old or the new webcam service?

ParticipantNo, It’s not possible.

ParticipantThis is intended and all Yahoo Messenger 11 and 11.5 builds have 2 YahooMessenger.exe processes.
Don’t be alarmed by it as it is intended to be like this and one is a Helper process that Yahoo added some time ago.
