Yes, my thoughts exactly. *snickering* Perception is a beautiful thing, eh? Quentin Tarantino has always been one of my favorite directors, from his days with Iron Monkey, Kill Bill etc. He seems to be getting better with age.
Side Note: How do I put a picture on my profile? I see a space for a URL, does this include something on my hard drive? Like C:/Desktop/pics/image9.jpg?
RuseOfMetacarpiMemberYou mean sometimes nerds don’t LOOK like nerds!?!?! I can attest to that, in high school my peers would tease me about how I looked like I belonged in a HUGO commercial instead of sitting on my a** in front of a computer. I can see myself turning into one of those hot old computer professors. Egocentricity anyone??? PS: chic geek like “totally”
RuseOfMetacarpiMemberHero is a very good movie. The color-themed scenes that differentiate between each actors point of view is a good idea. Also, the flowing motions during combat was also astounding. My favorite movie would have to be A Clockwork Orange though. the depth of the subject and the anti-censoring Director is a plus as well.
RuseOfMetacarpiMemberScuse me while I put my sarcasm gas mask on, I can barely breath. I suppose its possible for terrorists to converse in a chat room, how hard is it to make a locked-down room complete with passwords/encryption etc. Remember, just because you can’t see it, doesn’t mean it isn’t there young grasshopper. And no, I’d say the general IQ of the casual terrorist isn’t skyrocketing, sometimes it can take the simplest of things to terrorize, IE: a simple worm/trojan EXAMPLE: “the sasser worm”. *steps off of soap box*
RuseOfMetacarpiMemberIt must be that old looking text that strikes me as “granny”. *shrugs* one never knows. IE is quite basic now that I think about it, I sometimes use these programs habitually, not because I necessarily LIKE them, but because they are there and they need to be used (must be my OCD talking) working on a 56k dial up connection doesn’t help matters when it comes to programs I want. Perhaps when I shake the n00bness off of me, I’ll get my act together and start looking like a REAL nerd. :p
RuseOfMetacarpiMember*raises eyebrow* uh…..huh *backing closer to the door*:p I used to read all the little subjects at The Big Blue Ball, looking from the outside. Was always too lazy to become involved in this strange little community, ripe with avatars and text running out my 😮 .. It’s nice!!
RuseOfMetacarpiMemberUgh, The answer is yes, I am using IE. “But granny, I’m just a timid n00b who knows nothing of browser progs” Somehow I get the impression my answer should have been “Mozilla” or some other hyfalootin browser. *shakes fist in the air* you younguns and yer progs. (actually I’m 18)
RuseOfMetacarpiMember*groans* is it just me, or does my avatar suddenly look like a rabid kitten? *sighs* I think I will have to fix that. And thanks for the welcome, what an interesting band of coded people you are 😉

RuseOfMetacarpiMember*rolls eyes* What part of “numerous spyware killing programs” don’t you understand 😉 Yes, I have the usual aray of programs, If I couldn’t get rid of it through those, I wouldn’t be asking on this post. Thanks

RuseOfMetacarpiMemberIt can be staggering the amount of music available to the casual listener. But as you said, it sometimes depends on the situation or what I am doing at the present, sometimes its whatever song pops up in my playlist. Another thing that happens is I become so engrossed in whatever it is I am doing that a song will come and go and I will snap out and go “wait….what song was that?” after the song ends.
The world of Underground Trance/Techno is one of extreme opinions, so I will give just that, My opinion.
I would say, Paul Van Dyke, Dj Tiesto, Dj Skribble, Dj Sammi and Brooklyn Bounce is a good place to start, they should give you a well-rounded idea of what to expect from trance/techno. Sometimes its hard to decipher the difference between certain types of underground music and I wouldn’t want the freakish fans of a certain genre pinning me up for (heaven forbid) labeling Lords of Acid as “Techno” when it is actually “House”. So step lightly and if you don’t like it, move on. And PS: Greenday ROCKS!Ruse Of Metacarpi
RuseOfMetacarpiMember*shrugs* I’m not worried. If I say something in a chat room then I expect it to be public and for anyone to see (even the CIA). I would only become worried if the CIA started monitering PM’s. Then I guess they wouldn’t exactly be Private Messages. Until then, no worries unless you are discussing bomb specs or something else asinine in a chat room.

RuseOfMetacarpiMemberSometimes the picture file needs to be renamed with no spaces and an indication of what type of file it is, IE: “beckie_on_swing.jpg” Try this if the file you are trying to upload has spaces or strange symbols in the title.
