Hmmm… no takers it seems. I’ve seen’em at Barnes & Noble, and I’ve read articles about how the book series is wildly successful, but I haven’t read them nor seen the movie.

YahooliganMemberI afraid I don’t have a clue what you’re after, mate! If you want to move, pack up and go! Why would you need the cooperation of the local council?
Hire a truck, load your stuff in it, and find a better place to live.
Next problem? 🙂

The point is, most plots don’t involve teenagers or even twenty-somethings. Yet the twenty-something actors get the parts. Stupid.
Perfect example: Rear Window was a terrific Hitchcock classic starring Jimmy Stewart (not a twenty-something). The 2007 remake Disturbia starred Shia LaBeouf and twisted the plot to make it work with a high school teenager. Not even in the same class as the original.
Too many movies try to “look young” rather than using mature actors.
FWIW, I’m 27, so don’t think I’ve got some sort of anti-youth bias.
YahooliganMemberThere are a few options I can suggest that no one has mentioned yet.
- eBay – I’ve seen a lot of domains bought and sold on eBay.
- Sitepoint Marketplace – A webmaster-focused marketplace.
- Digital Point – Another webmaster focused site with a specific forum for buying and selling domains.
Good luck!
YahooliganMemberCan we all agree that it’s lame to base an entire day around a really, REALLY lame play on words? May the 4th?!
I may have to send Captain James Tiberius Kirk over to kick yo’ ass!
YahooliganMemberFirst off, I would try signing in from another computer, just to make sure your WLM account still works. It is possible (although remotely so) that the virus was used to “steal” your password, which someone else could use to then reset your password, which would explain why it doesn’t work.
You could also try the “forgot password” link. That’ll send reset instructions to whatever email you registered the WLM account with.
As for the Yahoo account, can you sign into any Yahoo sites using that account? If you can, then you know the account is still good, and the problem is something else.
YahooliganMemberGreat, welcome to BigBlueBall. Posting in forums is a great way to practice a new language.

Signs point to a new version being released in June/July, so if you’re not in a rush, I’d wait and see what’s coming. If you’ve got the first gen version, it might be a good time to upgrade!
YahooliganMemberI would go with the iPhone. I haven’t had a Blackberry, but unless you need some app that’s only on a Blackberry, go with the iPhone.
1000% cooler. 🙂
YahooliganMemberI have a YT account, and I could care less. This might concern people who are trying to market themselves in some way, but if you just want to USE YouTube, this really doesn’t matter at all! I can’t even tell you the last time I looked at the homepage. I usually get a link from another site (or it’s embedded like Fanatic did above) or I do a search. Period.
Aristocrap, you are a bore.
YahooliganMemberPeople can “advertise” anything they want on Facebook as long as it’s legal. This is why so many companies are jumping on the bandwagon. It’s a form of marketing that is “free” (no cost, other than the time for them to maintain and reply).
As for selling the admin rights, that’s questionable and most likely not allowed by the Facebook TOS agreement, although I have to admit I haven’t read it myself. Having said that, you could probably do it and nobody would know or even blink.
Why would they want admin rights? For control, most likely. As an admin, they could take the page in a direction that served their purposes. For example, if it was a real estate agent who wanted to buy the rights, he/she could post all their own notices and effectively lock out their competitors.
That’s right, it’s all about the $$$$!
YahooliganMemberI wanna meet the dude that replies to this poll, and says he has neither. That’s one wicked, wired dude.
YahooliganMemberYou can do multi-point webcam conferencing with iChat (on the Mac) or with Paltalk on PCs. There might be other solutions, but those are two I’m aware of.
YahooliganMemberWow, Bill Gates posts at BigBlueBall? Who woulda thunk it? 🙂
