there’s so much crap that comes with it, and you have to search forever to find something you need. your desktop is usually crowded w/ icons. macs don’t have this problem, the finder has EVERYTHING under like 5 folders…
You just proved my point, you think Mac’s are easier to use.
If you want to change a system setting, you go into the Control panel.
If you want to access your files, you go into Computer
If you want to access the network, you go to My Network Places.
Pretty damn easy, I’m not sure what you could be ‘searching forever’ for, it’s generally logical.
I know that Linux and Mac OS is built off UNIX, I’m a Linux user myself, and I like the design, and how it is setup. but you are wrong, Windows is NOT MS-DOS. Windows 95/98/Me were build off of the MS-DOS core, not really the greatest idea. Windows NT/2000 and XP are built on Windows NT. Windows NT is incredibly stable.
Of course Windows is more susceptible Viri, why the hell would anyone write a virus for a Mac when most of the computer users use Windows?! I’m sure that viri can and have been written for Mac OS.
What comes with windows that is ‘a lot of crap’? And why do you need an icon for everything on your desktop? You can remove all the icons from your desktop if you want, it doesn’t have to be crowded if you don’t want it to be.
Oh, and lastly, ‘computer ppl’ are much different than developers.
