Ok i’m shocked that you don’t ahve Dad’s army and Fawlty towers in that list! Two of the greatest shows of all time…
Anyway my vote goes to Fawlty towers, there were only two series, but every episode ws brilliant from start to finish, truly a comic masterpiece….
Out of the options in your poll i’ll have to go for Father Ted, as that’s also brilliant…
And I agree the results in Britains best Sitvcom was terrible, the vicar of dibley is in no way that good a sitcom, it’s not a classic. and I doubt it iwll endure as many of teh other programs in the voting will…
Oh and thanks for you support of the british TV industry… thouhgh the influx of the rubbishy reality programmes is a bit depressing at the moment…. and the americans do have some great shows, Frasier was great for instance…..
