First, the only time I’ve ever seen the ‘User.ComputerName’ is when you were connected to a Windows NT domain, in windows setup, did you select ‘Domain’ or ‘Workgroup’ in the networking portion?
I can’t help you with your internet because I do not know what part of it is not working, check the Network Card driver.
Download the nVidia driver from http://www.nvidia.com and transfer it to your computer on a floppy.
