My view on this? I find it completly insulting if I was a new member directed to a forum entitled being a moron for being a newbie and possibly not knowing how a forum works.
When I first registered here, I knew absolutly nothing about forums. I didn’t even know that there was forums exsisting outside the MSN Messenger one. All I have to say is lighten up. We were all new at one point. I don’t see how anyone could get pissed if they seen a topic THAT LOOKED LIKE THIS LOL. I mean, it’s not that big of a deal, and because it’s listed in the forum rules, it seems people like to go out of their ways to correct them. Do ‘them’ a favor, and answer their question to the best of your ability, and leave the moderation up to moderators.
Maybe if this ‘problem’ IS that big of a problem, then maybe Snitz needs someone to program something were it removes all caps in thread titles, and excessive use of “!”. I know Invision Power Board uses it, and it’s quite handy.
In the end, as I said, if I was called a moron for making a thread with capitals because I was 13, and use chat rooms, where periods are not needed, I would seriously be insulted, especially in front of 14000+ members, and thousands of people in traffic.
