1) Close AIM.
2) Start > Run > type in ‘regedit’ > OK
3) Open hkey_current_user
4) Software > America Online > AOL Instant Messenger > Current Version > Users > (your screenname) > IAmGoneSpecialCases
5) In the area on the right delete the ‘OsLO’ registry entry
6) Now right click on the IAmGoneSpecialCases folder
7) Open Permissions
8) Now check the Deny box for ‘Full Control’ and ‘Read’ for all groups of users
The Windows Session Logoff away message will no longer come up
this doesnt work.
