ParticipantCalling the CRTC to complain seems fruitless as they are ignoring complaints as per the email I got back the other day;

Re: Unsolicited Telecommunications Complaint
Dear Sir/Madam,
Recently, you filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call List
operator with regard to a potential violation of the Unsolicited
Telecommunications Rules. Specifically, you alleged that you received an
unsolicited telecommunication from a telemarketer.Your complaint was subsequently sent to the Canadian Radio-television and
Telecommunications Commission (the CRTC). This is to inform you that CRTC
staff have reviewed your complaint and have determined that there are
insufficient grounds to pursue further investigation. Consequently, the
file containing your complaint has been closed.Thank you for contacting us regarding your concerns. For your reference,
here is a link to the CRTC’s web site containing information about the

MemberHERE’S THE WHOLE SCAM: YOU ARE GOING TO GO TO A HIGH PRESSURE TIME SHARE PRESENTATION They mass mail an “invitation” says you won a free cruise on Imperial Majesty’s regal empress. It’s a real cruise ship but it’s real tiny, gross, sickly and basically a dump. You will stay in the bowels of the ship without a window and the engines will drown out your voice. But, as the “pitch” goes don’t just go for the cruise go for the “extended stay” The Ramada in Fort Lauderdale is in a dubious area of town (Commercial Blvd and 441) They are never full at this resort so it costs them NOTHING. Besides, for 2 of those days you’re gonna be on the little cruise boat. The Ramada Plaza Resort in Orlando is a dump. More like a hotel 6 but with a whole lot more noise and lots of kids peeing in the pool. A poor man’s Orlando dive, (Clean the sheets)
Remember, YOU ARE GOING TO BE PUT THROUGH A HIGH PRESSURE TIME SHARE PRESENTATION. They always have vacancies. In all the hotel rooms you WILL be put in the worst rooms they have. The telemarketer will tell you the Port and Departure tax is $99. Ramada and Imperial or whomever is running their little boiler room (and trust me, the phone room is a dump.dump, dump,) is lying about this charge as it is only $59. They are such cheap turds that they have to clip the other $40.So…the promoters have no cost in the hotel room (You’ll pay every little tax they can find) they’ll actually make money. Sam thing with the crap cruise ship. ( It needs to be disinfected). And they are going to charge you $798 if they can get from you. Once they con your card number, they WILL charge your card and they will run it for 798, 698, 598, 498, 398m, etc, to see what is on the card and charge it for the most amount they can.
It is all BS, It is nowhere near worthy of 798 plus taxes, plus, plus BUT YOU ARE GOING TO BE PUT THROUGH A HIGH PRESSURE TIMESHARE PRESENTATION..
This trip sucks. The owners running the boiler room are scum scammers. The place the work from is a scum pit, dimly lit, etc. BEWARE. IT’S A SCAM. dont throw away your money

MemberIn the past 3 months, I have been contacted numerous times by this company. I have done a lot of investigating into the company and have uncovered numerous facts.
1) This company is not affiliated with the well-known Ramada Hotels. They are affiliated with the Ramada Plaza Resort, which is not the same thing.
2) This scam has been covered by Dateline NBC. There is video available on the web about how you are offered this wonderful cruise for very cheap, and it ends up costing about $1200 or more out of your own pocket.
The rip-off reports of this company are phenomenal.
I have not been led into the scam and have not given out any information with this company. No. My problem is the phone calls.
I registered both my phone numbers (cell and home) on the Do Not Call List back in October when it became available. Since then, I have received calls almost weekly from Imperial Majesty Cruise Line.
To date, I have filed 12 complaints to the Do Not Call List regarding these calls and 1 complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Florida, where the company lives.
The first time I called, I called “Customer Service and Administration”. When I asked to be removed, they told me I needed to call another number. I called the number provided and asked to be removed. They said OK. It was done. I felt a huge breath of relief.
The calls kept coming in.
I called a second time, around Christmas, and asked to be removed again. The girl that I spoke to told me this time that I would need to speak to the telemarketer who called me directly and ask. Impossible, since I am at work when the company calls. I told her that I only ever received an automated service and she said that OK, she could remove me, but I would need to provide my ADDRESS this time. I refused, providing only my phone number. I thought that I was safe, but received a call again less than a week later.
Since then, I have contacted the CRTC who owns the Do Not Call List. They sent me back a very infuriating, very hopeless letter encouraging me to keep adding to their pending investigation and that I just need to keep filing complaints. I thought that at most, I would need to file 3 or 4. Maybe 5. I have filed 12 complaints.
On January 21st, I received another phone call at home. I left a very irate message on their call service asking to be removed.
The very next day, January 22nd, I received a phone call on my way home from work. My breaking point. I started to complete the phone survey as a “65, male, renting a home” when my call was disconnected and I could reach no one.
I have now filed 13 separate complaints, contacted 16×9 who just featured a story on the Do Not Call List, and asked for removals 4 times. I have also sent a cease and desist e-mail to their “Information” e-mail provided. I sent a few angry e-mails the first few times, and they actually removed their e-mail contact for weeks. It has just been put back up.
I have seen nothing but bad news about this company online, with numerous Do Not Call List groups citing that lovely 000-000-0000 number as their culprit. I have tried call blocking this number but my phone service does not recognize it. I have now blocked any customer service or administration numbers and have not seen a call yet, but that does not mean that I have heard the last of them.
This company absolutely needs to be stopped.
