Fancy, we don’t use pop-up or pop-under ads at BigBlueBall. I think what you’re referring to is the “Snapshots” feature that provides a thumbnail preview of any external link. The “Snapshot” isn’t an ad, but it’s interesting that you perceived it as one. You’re probably not alone.
We implemented Snapshots as a convenience, providing a quick preview before you teleported to another website, but based on this and other feedback, we’re rethinking that strategy.
seeing as i hardly have the time to post anymore, i was reading this one and decided to agree with everyone else. i have a full time job now, with bills. it’s hard to balance that with family and friends, and plus the weather is gorgeous. nobody should want to be cooped up inside on the computer.

I just haven’t had time really. I hardly spend time on the net too. There’s just not much that interests me anymore on the net. I probably spend at most 30 minutes checking mail, reading news, updating virus/spyware definitons, and downloading the latest Naruto episodes. I’m pretty much enjoying the summer even though I still have to go to work.
