Hi,
I’m using MSN 7.5 and last night, shortly after a friend went offline (10 seconds or so), I accidentally typed something into the conversation box that I really didnt mean them to hear (it was meant to be in another conversation).
Is it possible that they will receive this in an offline message when they log back in, or am I safe?
Cheers,
Mike
Hi Mike, sorry I am afraid that you will not be safe:( They will receive your offline when they log back onto MSN.
Hope it wasn’t anything too bad and they forgive you if you said something really hurtful.
Not hurtful, just awkward, considering I was telling another friend that “I think I love [first friend]”. Bugger!
I was hoping that I could only recieve and not send messages, not being on Live MSN.
Thanks anyway though,
Mike
Only thing I can think of is that you could always send another offline message saying something along the lines of, “Ignore it”…

Martin! Great to see you back around the bush!
As for the topic, you cannot SEND offline messages using MSN Messenger. You can RECEIVE them however (as you must be using Windows Live Messenger to send).
So, forget about having to lie and make up excuses, you’re safe 🙂
