How can you tell if a yahoo id is currently active or taken?
I had an id that i deleted 2 years ago,… and when i look at the profile it says not available,… when i send it mail,… it returns that its been disabled or deactivated,… but when i try to make the name again,… it says its in use.
How can it show no profile,… mail come back,… but still be in use.
When i called yahoo,… i gave them the correct information, but they said it didnt match, and wouldnt tell me if it was in use or not, and im pretty sure the info i gave was right.
Its just strange that i deleted it over two years ago,… has no profile or mail,… but says it is taken. Could someone really be using it?Yahoo! say that they hold account names for up to 90 days after deletion
They also reserve the right to hold it endefinately locked for other reasons.
This may be the case of your account or just another yahoo mess up or the id in question is been used as a sub account by someone.
