Got a blog or website? Google has introduced another way to interact with your visitors via Google Talk. Now you can insert a Google Talk chatback badge on your website.
The chatback badge shows your Google Talk online status and optionally any custom message. You can modify how your name appears. Visitors who click the badge when you are online can chat with you without having a Google Talk account.
The Google Talk chatback badge is a nice way to stay accessible and interact with your site or blog visitors, especially if you already use Google Talk.
Unfortunately, there is no way to create a chatback badge using your Google Apps for Domains account. At least, not yet. Often Google rolls these new features out in waves. Hopefully it will become available on Google Apps for Domains accounts soon.
Interesting, but your guests don’t get a chance to specify their name.
I’m surprised they left that out given that the AIM equivalent which came out back in July had that feature.
