Two questions really.
1) Can I add a MyLeague.com chat room so that it is accessible in Yahoo Messenger chat?
2) How can I find the correct name of this chat room?
Ken
I think you would have to use yahoo groups to do that.Create the room using the chat option in yahoo groups(it uses java chat IIRC).Make note of the room you’ve created and leave one bot in that room.
Then open up yahoo messenger using another ID,join any room and when you’ve joined a room use the /join roomname command ..(ie)/join myleague or whatever the name of the room you’ve created is.Should take you to that room, and then notify the people you want to join via IM what the room name is or they can use the /goto username command in chat to follow you into your room.I’m not sure if yahoo accepts (dots – .) in user created rooms, its been a while since I’ve created one,so not entirely sure about that.
**ps group chat room names don’t show up on yahoo messenger chat room lists IIRC,so you’ll have to notify the people yourself on how to get to your room, and the commands to use.
I’m pretty sure that’s the only way.But I could be wrong.
