Hi, I’rve recently run into a problem with my version of AIM 5.5.3595 that i use in conjunction with the Dead AIM plugin. Is anyone able to actually install this version on their installation of Windows XP SP3 without issues? I’ll provide further details if anyone is able to assist.

Does the newest build of aim use tabs and logging?So I gave in and I’ve upgraded to AIM 6.9 with adhack, aim simple clone & nalsoft AIM log manager.
I used to use an application called AIM settings backup wizard. Doesn’t seem to work with AIM 6 as it uses an entirely different directory to install. Any recommendations to transfer settings over from AIM 5.5.3595 to AIM 6.9?

If you’re having problems with deadaim, you could give middle_man a whirl, which supports up to 5.9.6089:
middle_man :: enhancing your instant messenger since ’02I still prefer the AIM5 series, personally.
I can’t remember which version, specificially, but I think deadaim only officially supported up to 5.2.3139. There were so many versions in the AIM5 series, I may have mixed a minor.build together.
