AIM 5.5 Beta has just been released. The download link has not been updated yet, but it adds games, notifications and some other things.
Now it’s back…but the link is still to 5.2.3239

Is there a way i can contact you? Thanks. Im hoping to get the file and upload it so people on BBB can get it.

i really dont like having ANOTHER icon it makes the buddy list even bigger id like to have a small compact buddy list (a dream AIM gui would be just stealing ICQ’s) o and the part that is really scaring me is that well since deadaim wuz bought out by aol then we might be screwed for a while having to see the ugly HUGEEE ad.
:DCool.I was wondering ,have you tryed any of the games they have? are they any good?Because i Like some of the dumb games/”skins” on Yahoo messanger.Im a sucker for new features as long as they dont screw the other good ones up.

They never released the actual file. They released the beta
site and then took it down.hey on ur screen shot i like how u have that xp window, but i have windows me and is there anyway to make my window look like that?
Other than the toast (the popup notifier) and the games thing, it doesn’t look much different. Bigger ad though. 🙁

I dont believe windows me looks like that unless there is a theme you can use to change the look. But besides editing windows, you wont be able to change the look. The only colors you can change with aim are your buddylist backround color, (not the border) your buddys font color, and the highlight color. All the other colors are a part of windows and can only be changed with themes. The windows colors are anything on the buddylist with a peach color.
