it does work with deadaim 4.0.
BUT it doesnt work with The free version.:(
I personaly dont like it, its a bit Big for me.Back to the older version for me.i am looking for an ad remover for aim’s new beta released today!! PLEASE, if you have a ad remover please respond back with the info to send me it, or just tell me where i can get an ad remover for the new aim beta please!

I downloaded the AIM 5.5 just to see what it was like. I HATE IT!! I use DEADaim and AIM 5.5 conflicts with alot of stuff DEADaim does. Like the ads, and hiding the general and list buttons. I am sticking with AIM 5.1 bcuz it seems like the best version that is out right now.

You have to edit your Aimres with Reshack. This allows you to delete the extra icons deadaim puts there and also allows you to delete the big gap at the top of your buddy list where the ad was.

i will warn u this has a memory hole that causes aim to use 75% of your processor after 12 hours of running it

What executable version are u talking bout? Do u mean Beta 5.53415? If so, u can get it on the Aim site right here its been there for awhile now: http://www.aim.com/get_aim/win/win_beta.adp
plus this is an old topic, i’m sure everyone is aware of it.
to alter teh way those old versions of windows look u can also download windowblinds or themexp they both cost moeny though but they both offer free trials (im pretty sure windowblinds does figuring i used to have but idk about themexp) there both good but eventually u gotta buy em
