MemberMaybe I’m asking for obvious way, but do you have any programming background? If you want to create good software, you will need to know at least a little bit about programming. 🙂
Meanwhile, programming is not something that people can explain to you in one forum post. If you don’t have any programming knowledge, but if you’re still serious about creating your own program, you should maybe buy a book on Visual Basic or Visual C++.

Visual Basic is easy indeed and… Windows written in XP? ‘XP’ is not a programming language. It’s a Windows version. Just like you have Windows 98 and Windows NT, you also have Windows XP.
And C++ is only boring if you don’t have the patience to learn it. 😉 C++ is so much more reliable than Visual Basic. But, as a start, I’d certainly go with Visual Basic because of the simplicity.

Yes… you know… books! Those things that you can read if the words written down in it interest you. 😉
Nah, just kidding. There are a lot of books around about programming. Very advanced books, which explain everything in detail, or more basic books that actually teach you the basics of programming, like this one.
Do note that each book is related to a certain programming language and IDE. The IDE (Integrated Development Environment) is the program that understands and translates your programming code into machine code. If you buy this book, you will also need the Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 IDE, since the book relies on that IDE for it’s examples. Mind you, good IDE’s can be quite expensive.
